Medium: Colored Pencil, Pastel This is Stephanie, a new Jpop artist. She is half Armenian-American and half Japanese. Stephanie has a really odd sort of beauty and amazing eyes. I hoped to capture that =) After going to Colorado for a 5-day weekend, I really wanted to draw something to capture that feeling. I think this piece really did! The west is amazing. It's all snowy and has mountains in the distance, even though it was freezing cold. So it's not very accurate -- Stephanie would probably need a hat and a scarf at LEAST... lol. I'm really proud of the bright blue text on here, I'm usually not very good at making text look good. I also drew this picture without ANY references or pose-copying, except studying Stephanie's face for a while before sketching -- That's a first! Back to Artwork |
